Retirement Accounts
You can name the JCC as the primary or contingent (secondary) beneficiary of a 401(k), IRA or life insurance policy. You can specify the percentage or a specific dollar amount that would go to the JCC.

CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies have programs where they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply the impact of your gift to the JCC. Companies and foundations use various procedures by which employees can request matching gifts. Conditions and criteria for matching gifts vary by employer. Some employers will also match donations made by spouses, retirees, and board members.

What are employee matching gift programs?
Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It’s an easy way to double your contribution to us!
My company does not match for religious organizations. Is the JCC considered a religious organization?
The JCC of Central NJ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a non-sectarian social service agency. JCC policies indicate that people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes are welcomed. JCC members and guests are not required to disclose their religious affiliation to use the JCC. Unlike a church or a synagogue, the JCC files the IRS 990 each year.
What are volunteer grant programs?
Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. If you volunteer with us, it’s an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!
How do I request a matching gift or volunteer grant?
Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five-minute process which must be initiated by the donor/volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
What if I still have questions?
For questions regarding your company’s programs, please contact your employer’s HR or community giving department. Much of the necessary information is also available on your company intranet.
