Two Jewish brothers, whose choices and values have driven them apart, meet again in Israel after many years. Dan works the land on a secular kibbutz in the South of Israel. An Article of Hope is an award-winning film about the remarkable true story of Colonel Ilan Ramon, Israel's first astronaut, and the tiny Torah he carried into space. It is a unique story that interweaves scientific achievement,
the private grief of a boy who came of age during the Holocaust and the public mourning in the aftermath of the Columbia shuttle disaster. Combining historical and ethical inquiry, the film reaches across faiths and nationalities to tell a truly human story.

Seinfeld meets All in the Family in creator Sayed Kashua's hilarious Israeli sitcom take on the Arab-Israeli conflict. The series focuses on the family and the work situations of Amjad, a Palestinian journalist and Israeli citizen. Much of the comedy is derived from the paradox of Amjad's love-hate relationship with his Arab identity and his simultaneous wish to integrate comfortably into Israeli society. Poking fun at the cultural divide, Kashua's characters play on religious, cultural and political differences to daringly depict Jerusalem's mixed society. The show marked a milestone on Israeli television – it was the first program to present Palestinian characters speaking Arabic on primetime.

A Great Family Film 12+
It's the summer of '66 in England, and the country is about to be consumed by World Cup Fever. For 12-year-old Bernie, the biggest day of his life is looming, the day he becomes a man - his Bar Mitzvah. However Bernie's North London family seems a little distracted. His obsessive-compulsive father Manny is concerned about the giant supermarket opening opposite his grocery shop, and his mother, Ester (Helena Bonham Carter), is busy worrying about her husband, Manny, and Bernie's older brother, Alvie. But Bernie believes his Bar Mitzvah is about to change all this. He'll no longer be the kid everyone ignores, and he envisions and begins to plan the perfect ceremony and reception, where everyone will acknowledge his new status. Unfortunately for Bernie, things don't go according to plan.
